TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY, Newman Takanawa "Mixed Festival 2026"
For five days from June 10 (Wednesday) to June 14 (Sunday), 2026, TAKAWA GATEWAY CITY Newman Takanawa will hold an event called "Mixed Festival 2026" to promote new possibilities for "Japanese osake" culture.
The "mixed festival" was held for the first time in April 2025 and attracted about 10,000 visitors over three days.
This event proposes new charm and value by "mixing" various elements such as food, culture, and art, centered on "Japanese sake" such as sake, shochu, craft salmon, and craft gin.
Centered on the Mixed Festival Park, where you can enjoy alcohol and food in the outdoor plaza, we will develop a variety of contents, such as a maker's dinner where you can enjoy food with sake brewery makers in Newman Takanawakan, a limited-time pairing menu, and workshops that both adults and children can enjoy, creating a new scene for enjoying "Japanese osaki".
・Gathering "Japanese sake"
From Hokkaido in the north to Kagoshima in the south, a total of more than 100 sake breweries will gather every day for five days. Sake, shochu, craft salmon, craft gin, and "Japanese sake" are gathered. Visitors can enjoy unique sake from all over Japan while interacting directly with the brewers. The alcohol you encounter at the venue can be purchased by bottle. Please feel the diversity, history, and future of Japan's world-class "Osakure".
・Enjoy both adults and children
Snacks that can be enjoyed with alcohol and food trucks that are particular about ingredients are gathered. In addition to enjoying pairings, non-alcoholic amazake arranged drinks and shaved ice will also be available, creating a space where both drinkers and non-drinkers can enjoy "Japanese osake" in a casual and casual way. Mixed festival original goods and sake vessels will also be sold.
